OK - here was my take. I eventually took off the train - or trained it up higher cause I didn't like it. Can't believe how much I have aged since moving to Colorado... must have been the man I have been with - Denise

Wow, Denise, that is a BEAUTIFUL copy of the fashion plate! I am so inspired!

OK, that's it. I'm doing an overlay of soft, drapey black net over the front panel so I can get my drapey look. I can't live without it after seeing yours. And your gown also helped me to "see" where to place and how to make the lace bows and things. Thank you!!

OK, it's getting dark so the light sucks, but I've pinned on draped net onto the center front and lace trim down each side seam of the center front.

Yes, Fancy Pantaloons! I had some beautiful 8" wide double-scalloped edge lace trim, and I did a running stitch and gathered it up the center.
