Thanks Lady LaSalle. My only concern is the NF is new to me and I don't know how tight to tie the ties in the back of the skirt and overskirt. They're pretty tight in the pictures and it kind of squashes the underskirt and petticoat back "poofs" (whatever they're called). When you see me at convention, I'll need to know whether to tighten, loosen or leave the ties alone.
For those that don't know about the ties, there's two under the under skirt and two under the overskirt, in the back. You tie them so that the fronts of the skirts are pulled somewhat to the back, under the back panels. Here's pictures to compare. The ones on the left...the ties had not been made yet, thus, no ties tied together. The ones on the right, finished product with ties made and tied fairly tight. See how it pulls in on the under skirt? I'm not sure that's the look I'm supposed to have and maybe I just need to loosen the ties? |

Does that go for the fantail skirt also? I don't intend to gather it tight but leave it loose. I have only one tie at the knees. But two ties on the overskirt which is the same pattern as yours Lil'.

Lil, on some of my NF underskirts I left the ties completely off. They interfered with my ability to walk. You don't have to make them really tight. Just fiddle with them until you get the look that you want and still be able to move around unimpeded.
