I think we have established that we are a community/family and the Alley is more than just a place to come and talk about our Victorian Costuming and Cowboy Action Shooting!

In an effort to keep our Photo Album organized (unlike my sewing room) Let's post our great Halloween costume pictures on this thread.

Fannie and Aneeda. Look close, Aneeda is holding a black kitten. This was before I had a sewing machine. Aneeda's costume was held together by "Wonderunder". Remember that stuff? :lool :lool

Fannie, the first picture you sent reminds me of my all time favorite vamp, Vampira / Maila Nurmi. Marvellous!

It wasn't Halloween, it was the play "A Christmas Carol" and I was the Ghost of Christmas Past, Magan was a beggar girl and my friend Phil was Bob Crachit.

Nellie, of course I scared the kiddies...... when I answered the door before I put on the makeup.... :18

Fannie, too funny. The idea actually came from the movie Young Guns, where Chavez takes the gang into the "spirit world" with the peote. He did a skull face that I tried to copy ~poorly (not very good at makeup.... lack of experience ;) ). It was fun though!! :)

I still roll when I watch that scene! The whole movie is worth watching just for that 5 minutes. Now that you say it it actually wasn't too bad a recreation!

LMB,
Sorry, I will miss November at Lenoir. Thanksgiving and Family, plus I am way overdue for some down time from work. Chipmunk and I plan to be in Fayetteville instead of Lenoir on the 19th. Won't be the same, but I plan to have family with me who have never seem me shoot a match.

GG,

They're adorable. Don't even mention being 21 again. I wouldn't mind being 41:re

Great job on the flapper outfit. The feathers look great!

Allie

Here's Matt and his friends at their Halloween party. He's the one in front on the saddle. Heather his girlfriend is beside him in an outfit a friend made for her. (The outfit made Matt a very happy cowboy). The other girls have some of my things on and the boys even have shirts and vests on that I had made for Matt.

Darn! I should sent business cards in that box with the saloon girl apparel! I had 5 models!

By the way - he's talking marriage with this one!

Mo, I had problems with 40( dang light poles jumpin' out in front of ya). 50 wasn't real good either( fell apart). Don't think I want to go back and do them again. Other than the aches and pains, am quite satisfied where I am at the moment( Mrs. Itis never keeps her kid at home( Arthur) ).........Buck:noe
