This Recipe can have any chocolate candy raspberry ruffle, maltesers or crunchie (honeycomb) bars.

1. 200grm tub Philadelphia cheese
2 oz icing sugar
Half a pint fresh whipping cream
1 large bag of Maltesers or 3 honeycomb bars or3 ruffle bars.
You could a chocolate or jam swiss roll

Cream the philadelphia cheese and icing sugar, chop up your choice of candy, put this in your mixture, add half a pint of whipping cream and mix all together in your mixer. Line 8 inch tin with sliced swiss roll and pour in mixture and put in refridgerator to set. This is such a yummy sweet i hope you all can work out your alternative names for the recipe ingredients

Sticky Toffee Pudding.

4 ozs of chopped dates.
1 pint of boiling water.
1 half teaspoon of bicarbinate of soda.

soak these ingreadients overnight.

2 ounces of soft baking margarine
6 ounces of sugar.
8 ounces of self raising flour (baking flour).
Cream marg and sugar add one egg fold in flour and whisk well, add date mix, whisk again.
Put all mix into a medium size casserole dish and cook in electric oven 200 degrees for 30 minutes . All of you can work out alternative temps for your own type of ovens. This mixture rises well so make sure your cooking dish is big enough. Now comes the great bit The sauce which should not be made until you are ready to serve.
4 ounces of butter
8 ounces of soft brown sugar
Melt these two ingreadients together slowly and add 1 half pint of fresh whipping cream.

Enjoy i hope you like sweet things occasionally i do.:drool

:faint TNT, these look yummy ! My oldest son (the 1 who lives in Spain)made a surprise visit yesterday & brought 2 M & S deluxe chocolate covered Swiss rolls. I'm ashamed to say I've eaten 1 of them, but I'm going to Kate's at the weekend, so I may just use the other 1 to make the cheesecake, & take it with me, so we can celebrate the sale of her latest dress :faint

I'm still getting the chocolate off my chin. And I've hidden the last peice at the back of the fridge so that Dave forgets it's there, then I'll creep downstairs in the middle of the night with Mushu to eat it.....

:tap TNT, I really wish you hadn't started this thread ! I can't stop making candy cheesecake. I've now taken to making it in individual little pots, & freezing them straight away, so I don't have to eat a whole family size 1 before it goes "off", & I actually have to wait a while for it to defrost, by which time I may decide I don't want it after all (fat chance ! ) Latest version was made with cinder toffee, but I prefer it with Maltesers. :go

:drool Yummy, yummy, yummy !!!!! It's your fault I've put a few pounds on in the last few weeks. I have to make it every couple of weeks or so. I tried it with cinder toffe, 'cos there's no fat in that, & jam filled swiss roll base, but it wasn't as nice as the first 1. So the next 1 will be made with chocolate covered chocolate swiss roll, & maltesers. :drool

Thank you most kindly for this recipe!!

:drool I made this again today, & for the first time I used Raspberry Ruffle bars instead of Maltesers, & threw in a small packet of chocolate chips for good measure. I'm just having a taster now & it's yummy, but I still prefer the Malteser version. :drool
