"When Harvey Palmer and Deputy Jesse Thompson meet they already have one thing in common: a deranged outlaw named Howdy Baxter. Harvey killed Baxter’s brother, and Baxter wants revenge. Jesse’s orders from Judge Randolph Martin are to bring Baxter in, and failure is not an option.

As if their lives weren’t complicated enough Baxter kidnaps Lila Foster, the love of Harvey’s life, and Kitty Moynahan, a rancher’s daughter who Jesse has fallen in love with at first sight. The two men team up and with a half Irish, half Apache and Chinese ace in the hole they take on Baxter and his men in a fight to the death in an abandoned ghost town to save the women they love."

This is my first honest to goodness published novel, and folks say it's a good one. It's available in any online bookstore, but if you buys it from me, it'll be autographed. It's the first in what I'm planning to be a series. You can check it out here:

Complications (http://www.sisleycreek.com/complications_page.html)

There's a link to an excerpt there too.

And if PayPal don't give you hives, you can tuck it in your shopping cart and pay it right on out and I'll get it in the Pony Express rider's saddlebags right away. Price is $20 including personal autographing and shipping and handling...

Actually, Book 2 is writ, I'm just waitin' for my newly acquired literary agent to sell Book 1. I figure that if that happens, Book 2'll be easier to sell...

If it don't happen, I may just open my own publishin' outfit, and go into business for myself...
