I like the gunfight at the end. Good shootin' but not ridiculously good. :) Clay can also work in his "code of the west" philosophy without beatin' you to death with it like some writers.

Finished my autographed copy (THANKS CLAY!!! :tban) and I can say it's fast reading. Doesn't grind on forever. Takes you through the high trees on horseback and into old towns and introduces you to some interesting people.... Hmm, kinda like the Alley. :lool Has some twists and such (which is good because I like surprises) and still adheres to the code of the West.
