You might want to give ebay a try....... Ladies are always looking for larger sizes and you can put a reserve price on it to make sure you get your money back...,, I'm sure the ladies that have sold theirs on ebay could give you some good advice on price. Good Luck

Factor how much you spent and the time you took to do it too into the cost!
If you have more silk another ruffle could be added to lengthen the front/sides??
Give yourself a reserve you'd be happy with..

Oh my dearest MOY,

I am so sorry that you have to part with this lovely dress. It look gorgeous on you. You, at least, have photos to remember it by and, just think, learned so much from making it.

Good luck on eBay!

PS I still haven't sold there yet...

Thank you ladies. I will probably sell it on Ebay. Just looking for your thoughts on it, & to see if anyone here wanted it first. I havnt thought about price yet. I should have something by tomarrow, I'm too stressed right now to think.

No, No, No! Say it isn't so! I'm so sorry you must part with it. Yes, make sure you put a good reserve on it if it goes to ebay.

Maybe you can post the Text for your Ebay ad here and those you have sold there may give you some pointers. If you MUST sell it then you MUST get a great price for it. I love that dress.

Ack! No!! Don't you have another train instead of your gown? I've been flooding eBay with stuff and there seems to be a lot of buying right now. They also have lower fees through Saturday. Good luck!!

MOY

Sorry to hear of your tax issue.

Can you repay the tax department by installments and not by having to make a large payment.

Im sure your dress will sell on Ebay but if you dont want to part with it, can you think of other solutions first.
