YES scratch no pattern!! I have done some free hand drawing!! After my hand at heathers hat pattern i have gone beyond and created new shapes!! (post 4,11,12,14,16 all scratch)
I should shoot the bottoms of some of them they are really tricky(hearts and odd ovals) the felt hat's are just blocked and decorated!! I also made bonnets free form too!!
