I am not a person who cannot live without ice cream, but boy it does help you get thru the day sometime! I'm not sure if you West Coaster's have this out your way or not, but Ben & Jerry's ice cream is simply to die for! They have a new flavor-----Americone Dream. It's vanilla ice cream swirled with carmel sauce and chuck full of chocolate coated waffle cone pieces. :faint If you have a Dairy Queen nearby, it's like there Waffle Cone Blizzard. Both are simply yummy! My waist line doesn't love it, but my taste buds do!!!! Dawg loves Chubby Hubby (what else!) which is vanilla ice cream swirled with chocolate and full of chocolate covered peanut butter filled pretzels. So if you ever have to make a decision about Ben & Jerry versus another kind, go with B&J!

Ohh sounds good LL, im not big on ice cream, we used to be able to get licorice ice cream here for a while and i had it once from Coldstone in the US, i loved that.

But my husband he LOVES Ben and Jerrys Chubby Hubby, but we dont get it down here... He normaly consumes a container of it when we go over there...

The other new one sounds nice too....

DQ is good too if you have one near you, and its not ice cream but I was frankly adicted to sonic slushies in OKC...

We have DQs here in southern Nevada, gotta love the Blizzards. I love my ice cream, my BIL used to deliver ice cream to the grocery stores and if there was a mess up on the order he'd drop the case at my house. I gained 10lbs one summer just from the Choco Tacos.

I really like Ben & Jerry's because they have those little containers that cost as much as a 1/2 gallon of anything else. It does two things, makes me think twice about buying it in the first place and the bottom is much closer when I do.

If any of you live near a college with an Agriculture Department, see if they have a diary bar.

Utah State University in Logan has the best ice cream anywhere and seems to invent new flavors almost weekly.

Rum plum is my all time favorite, but didn't go over well in the heart of Cache Valley.

They have also come up with peppermint peach and peppermint strawberry, almond ammeretto, and black cap mint.

They have ice milk, gelato, and sherbets, too...even yogurt.
