That IS beautiful. Unfortunately, though, the gowns are usually not intended for the more "ample sample" woman. Just once I would like to see a larger gown on there. We larger ladies cannot bid on such wonderful gowns. THANKS for posting!:ty :tban

:ty Kate,
I have her in my fav sellers. She puts so much detail in her work. I don't get emails though.
I can't wait until we sell our house. I'd bid on this if I weren't pinching pennies. :cry it's even my size!

You let me know what measurements to be made in a gown, and I'll list one for you!! I'm not taking any special orders at present, but I'm always happy to know the different sizes women are looking for!

It is lovely. I put a couple of bids in on it and then I realized it is made of Taffeta. No taffeta on this girl in July and August, couldn't stand. Cotton only once we pass mid-June. Darn it!

I went back and bid two more times because it really is a lovely dress and hat. I'm being automatically outbid each time. This is frustrating!

and the reserve is not met yet either... she has a beautiful site as well, and you can sorta see how she prices her dresses...I dont know how she does reserves but I imagine she is hoping for the ball park of whats listed on the web page. Just guessing though. I can not remember who posted tha they own a couple of her dresses, but I have never heard anything but very high praise for her work, and workmanship.

FYI ... Christines Reserve is generally around the $600 mark. But her gowns are incredible, and worth every penny!

Doesn't Shyanne have a couple of her dresses?
And I think Christine's reserve is usually about $100 less than the price on her website. I've watched her dresses before and that' what I remember (but I could be wrong)

The Laughing Moon Saloon Girl, Cancan...pattern has a bustle that is similar. I've made it once and part of it once. It's easy and you could make it for a song. You've already got the corset. An under corset top would be easy. Here's a link. http://www.lafnmoon.com/saloon_girl.htm

eBay can be so strange. Last I saw yesterday the reserve hadn't been met and the bid was still under $300. It didn't sell and the highest bid was $317. It was relisted at a Buy It Now of $650 and sold  Guess it all depends on who is looking and when!

Someone made her an offer after the auction did not meet the reserve and she put it up just for them to buy it now at her reserve or whatever they offered. That is how I got mine two years ago.
