Well, the Belle Alley was represented well at Givhan's Ferry. I will post what few pictures I have, but my camera went on the blink and I didn't get very many. Perhaps one of the other Alley Cats will post some pictures later.
I finally met Angel Outlaw! :ban She is such a sweet person, but very quiet. She looked dynamite all weekend. Ruthless Renee was there and looked great also. The match was not easy, only ONE person shot it clean, and it was NOT me! But, the weather was perfect and we had a great posse. Here are the finishes for the Alley Cats that I know were there:
Angel Outlaw: 1st place Lady Gunfighter
Fannie Kikinshoot: 2nd place Lady Gunfighter, SC State Champion Lady Gunfighter
Ruthless Renee: 5th place Lady Traditional
Bulls Head Bill: 4th place Traditional
Cockroach: 3rd place Senior
Chanel Belle: 1st place Lady Frontier Cartridge, SC State Champion Lady Frontier Cartridge (we lost her after the Alley crash, hope she signs back up soon)
Team Match Winners: Bulls Head Bill, Fannie Kikinshoot and Cockroach
Here is our posse waiting to shoot stage 4, which had a moving target that had broken and was being repaired. Unfortunately there were 2 other posses in front of us waiting to shoot the same stage, so we had a little bottle neck.

I wish Bill had gotten a picture of this stage. There was a train prop that had windows which we had to shoot thru...yes from way back there. The 3 targets behind the windows were moving back and forth. If you hit the train, not only was it a miss, but a 10 second penalty for every hit....some people racked up 45 seconds with 3 misses. :18 Luckily, I did not hit the train. I was so excited after I shot the first 6 rifle rounds and had hit all the moving target that I forgot I had to dump the last 3 rounds on the stationary target and I started to move down stage. The RO was yelling, "Whoa!" so I backed up, shot the other 3 rounds and THEN ran down stage. I did have some misses with my pistols, but nothing hit the wood.

Bulls Head concentrating before shooting stage 4, which had another moving target. You had to pull the rope which activated the target and it swung from one side of the stage down to the other. You had to triple tap it with the rifle.

Hey Fannie! great pics, I kind of miss having a small shoot where you get to see all the posses, I don't think I got to see half the people that were there.

We finally got home last night aroun 9:30, Firestick wanted to stop and have lunch with some of his SC buddies so we didn't leave Charleston until 2:00.

It was great fun, but I think I am glad to be home, the dogs really missed us.

It was great meeting you and Ruthless Renee, altho I confused Miss Renee with Ruthless! I will get my pics soon and post when I get them.

I love my striped undergarmets, they have been fun to wear! next year Firestick will have him a striped outfit and we will keep adding on prisoners until we have a whole match with prisoners.

Ranger Law took some pics of us in the jail house, I will post them when he sends them to me.

It was a good time, you would have enjoyed it.

Good Morning All!

What a terrific weekend. The weather was absolutely fantastic. The stages were great (except for the train:18 ).

It was great to see Fannie and Bill again. And, it was a joy to finally meet Angel Outlaw and Firestick. I look forward to seeing them again.

Some additional winners:

Klearwater Kate (a lurker) took 4th place Ladies Duelist.
Bushwacker Bull (my spouse and I suspect a lurker) took 3rd place Gunfighter.

Chanel Bell really looked good. She's a very attractive 18-year-old. And one of the genuinely nice yound people out there. She had to miss Friday (college) and shot all ten stages on Saturday. You should have seen the faces of the old guys when she would come up and start blasting away with that black powder. I have some pictures and will get them up (hopefully tonight).

Now Fannie....get back to sewing!!!!:sewing

hmmmm, I may have ticked off Roy Rugers??? don't know him but he seemed to take it personal when I said the bar maids should have had a little more clothes on. They made quite the spectical of themselves, and the one with the least clothes on, the ditzy one, spilled a glass of ice all over me.

Oh, well, do I seemed concerned:re I think I will go back over there and hassel him somemore, that's what I do best.... be back soon

Will we have moving targets at the "Bells Bust Out"? Pleasssssseeeeeeeee?

Uhhhhhhhhhh.....NO!! There will be NO moving targets at The Bust Out in May. We cannot afford the time to repair a target if it breaks like it did at Givhan's Ferry. That malfunction caused a bottle neck of over 2 hours!! It was a fun stage, but we don't have the liberty to do that during a one day match. Sorry. Besides, moving targets are very frustrating to new shooters and we want EVERYONE to have a great time.

Yippee!!!!! :yp No crap that moves! :ban Chalk up another reason I want to come to the "Bust Out". :007

YEAH Fannie! someone with some sense, see women should write all the stages, we think a little more than men do about everyone not just ourselves.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind moving targets, BUT when you are at a big match like that it isn't a good thing.

I actually like the Texas star and can shoot it bout as good as most the men we shoot with.

DID I forget to mention I tied for 1st place in the tomahawk throw????? That is my favorite plaque! hmmmmm, a new story for our story is brewing.

Hey, what did I say that was so funny?

Well I'm back. Spent the week in lovely Dublin, Ohio. It was cold...I actually got to see snow. The weather was a shock after the beautiful weekend we had just spent at Givhan's Ferry.

I have pictures and I'll get them posted.

I looked at the pictures on the website. There are some really good ones. Unfortunately, he got some of me shooting my rifle. What the heck is my head doing cocked all the way to the side over that rifle. I know better than that...:kbutt
