Guess what?? I won 2nd in Ladies Traditional....but even better.....


I won Woman-on-Woman!!!
I had tough competition! Irish Eyes, Daisy Jane (2004 AZ State Champ), Echo Meadows (2005 AZ State Champ), and Claudia Feather!!! I was shaking in my shoes...I mean LITERALLY!!!

I have a couple of photos to post (when I dig the camera out). :ss

I won a few door prizes....a leather Brownell's shooting bag, a cute girly straw hat from Coon's Creek (I've been looking at it since Colorado...remember it PMS?), a watch chain...and my friend gave me her $25 gift certificate from Ageless Patterns so I got the pattern for "The Mess, Jr" and an Ageless Patterns bodice that I'm going to "try" to size. It's too cute...this is it.

And best of all I bought 12 yds of fabric for $56. I'll post a picture later...it's gorgeous and unique (I think it's faille)....and I'll be asking for ideas for it.

Don't worry Clancy...I tend to train wreck often! :lool Who knows if my head will be in attendance or not! :18 And who knows...maybe Miss Ruby will need to be worrying :rofl ...I'm trying to put together a B-Western rig...If I can afford it before then! That's a big IF with all this traveling! :rofl

Wahoooo girl wow...shopping prizes and titles! gotta love it when a plan (or a shoot or a pattern or heck most anything....) comes together!!
I LOVE that pattern you posted...holler if you need any input ! Hey I think faile could work with that pattern right there! Sounds like its beautiful stuff! I love to work with it too...I really loved reading it in a description of fabric...I feel so "authentic" when I get to sew with it!!

Well, there weren't really very many photos in the camera...as usual...to busy shooting to take photos...

Here's one of me with our Posse Marshals and good friends Diamond Jim Bandy on the left and Rattler John on the right....you can't really see her, but that's Nelly's ears sticking out from behind us...we had to hold on to them ears at the beginning of the stage...did you notice the "line" to right side of us?

"Whoa, Nelly!"
