Fall Festival

This weekend was not spent shooting as I had to work a booth at the Tega Cay Fall Festival for our office. I really wanted to grab everyone's attention and be memorable. (Doing blood sugar checks and blood pressure checks are just NOT memorable.) So, I used my cowboy gear to pull in the crowd and tell them about our Urgent Care Centers. Here's how it worked, someone would be walking by and not paying us any attention (yeah right) and we'd convince them they needed to win a prize, so they would get on Ole Paint and choose their weapon, either a rifle or pistol that shot suction cup ammo. Then they would shoot at our targets, which had the services that we offer at our clinics listed on them. We were the busiest and most revisited booth there. :ban

A willing teenage participant....you know deep down she really wants to be a cowgirl.

The line was long at times and the little cowpokes aren't very patient.

This little guy jumped up there and said, "Hi, I'm Justin, give me a gun." Bulls Head had to tell him, "Don't shoot the cowboy!":rofl

What a fun idea!!!!!! They put on "wellness" events at the hospital here, too. That is such a creative way to get people to your booth! How cool is that?!!! And to be able to play cowboy as well-----it doesn't get much better! Fannie, I'm officially stealing this idea and passing it on to our event coordinators!:ruff

Great idea, combine what you love with what you have to do. But, I thought you normally raised mens blood pressure.
Get my bp and blood sugar checked the last Friday of every month at work. One of the benefits of working for the Tribe.
