Here's an easy trim. You just fold and sew. I used contrasting fabric and thread so you could see how it's done. You can also use ribbon.

Keep folding

Lazy K

This is the end of Step one. You can use the trim "as is" or go on to Step 2

Lazy K
12-03-2006, 04:24 PM
Step 2. Fold the "down" points up behide the "up" points

Okay ladies, since I can't get motivated to :sewing and have nothing to show you in a class, I put all of Lazy K's photos of this wonderful class in a four-page Word Document. So, you can easily print it.

If you'd like a copy, let me know. I will wait a week for responses and send them all at once. I have dial up :( :help :waiting :waiting :waiting and the doc is 9.91MB.

So sorry.

Clancy
05-15-2007, 10:11 PM
Alli

You may need to zip the document to allow it to go through. If you right click on your saved document it should bring up the following. Then click on Zip and Email ( mine has cricket because thats the example of the doc name i used). This will compress the size of the file and allow you to email without a problem

Nellie Blue
05-15-2007, 10:13 PM
Was it because you tried to send the email to multiple addresses? Maybe try sending it to one person...you can try emailing it to me & I can post it on my site for everyone to download...

Allie Mo
05-15-2007, 10:18 PM
:ty Clancy and :Nellie for responding.

:Nellie, it was the large file not number of names.

Clancy, :ty I will zip and resend it tomorrow.

Allie Mo
05-16-2007, 10:38 AM
Waaa!

I zipped it and it was still too large.

OK...here's something for you to try...sometimes when you save a Word document as a PDF, it will make it smaller.

Download this program and try "printing" it as a PDF... Primo PDF (http://www.primopdf.com/) - Nellie Blue Approved :D

Nellie Blue
05-17-2007, 03:47 PM
My newsletters go from 3,051 kb down to 253 kb when I use that program to convert from MS Word to PDF. And it's a free program!!!

Bloomin'

I just did a right-mouse click on the first post in this thread and selected "print" and the thread will print out. I think it is about 8 pages long to get all the instructions. Pictures printed too.

That sounds so easy. Sorry I failed ya. Bloomin' saved the day!

YGG!

PS that's you go girl!

Bloomin'
05-17-2007, 07:33 PM
It's not as nice as if it's in one document, but as Blackheart says "That'll do." The entire thread doesn't print out, only the page that shows on your screen. Then when you go to page 2, you would have to do it again. But for me page 1 is posts 1-10 and that was all I needed.

Did you try it Allie Mo?

Allie Mo
05-17-2007, 08:05 PM
Hi Bloomin',

No, I didn't even print it. I just figgured I'd open my Word doc when I got around to making PPs.

:ty again!

Hello,

I hate Dial-Up :waiting :waiting for the Primo that :Nellie suggested to download. ETA in 50 minutes.

Nellie Blue
05-18-2007, 10:29 AM
Oh....Dookie! I forgot a bout dial-up! :faint But it's worth it if you decide to wait!

Allie Mo
05-18-2007, 10:58 AM
Whew!

I hate giving up :(

:Nellie saved the day. She's the Primo PDF Princess!

That program took my email from 10+MB to 549+KB. You should receive it momentarily.

:ty for your patience.

Nellie Blue

Yay!!! Was it simple to use? I'm not a good judge of that cuz my brain works differently. :lool

Yay!!! Was it simple to use? I'm not a good judge of that cuz my brain works differently. :loolYes! Luckily, you said something about printing. That sounded a little different than I would expect. So, I read a page of the instructions first.

Next time I send a big :ss, I will try shrinking it with this program, which was free!

:ty again!

Allie Mo

I made my first length of PP trim. If you start with a two yard length, you will end up with about one yard of trim.

I hope this helps.

Has anyone noticed that if you iron them differently you can get a different pattern? I cant remember if K showed us this.

See how Lady Leigh and i have made the same things but they look different.

My version, see how i have one point that sits behind two points.. And Lady Leighs version where hers sit behind the next one.

Allie Mo

Hi Clancy,

She shows that in the last two photos. Just goes to show, GMTDS (great minds think differently sometimes). :lool
