1 can chili sauce
What brand? How many ounces? At a potluck once, someone served a similar sauce for dipping the little smoky sausages in and I got the recipe but didn't ask these two key questions. Enquiring minds want to know! :ty

Sounds quick'n'dirty. Hope it works with sugar free grape jelly. I gots the type 2. :(
A friend used to mix 1:1 grape jelly and French's yeller mustard and toss in a couple packages of cheap hotdogs to feed her kids. Tasted pretty good, but it's way better with a higher quality hotdog. ;)

I had to check this out because to "Jelly Meat balls" sounded kinda weird, but the recipe, sounds kind of good.
Has anyone tried it yet?

I've made these on numerous occasions! They are delicous. This same sauce recipe is really good with those cocktail sausages, the teeny tiny ones that you serve with a toothpick!

I haven't made these in years. Used to make meatballs, put 'em in a crockpot and bring the Chili Sauce and Grape Jelly with to potlucks. Then added CS & GJ to the meatballs when I arrived at the potluck. People just LOVE them AND they look at you funny when you dump the Grape Jelly on the meatballs. (great for entertainment/conversation)
I hate taking food to a potluck that doesn't travel well, and this is a perfect idea. No muss, no fuss.
You are so sweet for the reminder! :chick :kiss

Adah, what brand of Chili Sauce and how many ounces do you recommend? Does the chili sauce come in a can or a jar?

Remember that "guy" that was married to that really, really rich lady?
I just can't say the name. :18
Anyway, here it is...

Use the whole jar and the same ounces of grape jelly. 1 to 1
Make sure to pour the grape jelly into whatever you've decided to make when people are watching. You will get some really wide eye'd looks!

Thanks, Adah! Now I know what to look for when I go to the market so I can finally give this recipe a try.
