Ignore what the nice man says early in the article about people not using their sewing machines for hours at a stretch nowadays. (He hasn't met us yet.) And nope, this wouldn't replace my Elna, or the serger.

But holy kittens, don't you want to be able to toss one of these in your luggage for last-minute fixes at the convention? Hem repairs at Winter Range? A few quick fabric roses to add to an outfit at End of Trail? Where do I sign up?

Wonder if we could send the inventor e-mail, saying, "Hey, we'll test that for ya..."?

Do you think if I printed it, circled it, and taped it to my husband's computer screen that it would be to subtle a hint???:hmr :lool

...and the bathroom mirror, and the dashboard of his car, and...:rofl :rofl

Seriously, I have no idea how many changes and compromises might happen in a production model of this thing (and there are ALWAYS compromises!), but if--no, no, think positive--when it goes into production, I will be waiting at the manufacturer's loading dock!
