Some of our Alley members got to go on vacation...Some of us had to stay home and go through old pictures! I thank those who have shared those tremendous pictures of beautiful areas of our United States that have been displayed here.:ty

ANYWAY...Back to the topic....Here is something that was taken 15 years in the remote area of my Colorado Back yard. No, this Non Typical Mule Deer no longer hangs in my house, but does still have a beautiful home in Colorado.

Imagine your surprise when this monster jumps out of it's bed about thirty yards from you!

Sorry it's in black and white that's all the film I had with me at the time the Taxidermists finished it, and I sold it.

This little Boy was taken up Prince Creek, outside of Carbondale Colorado the same year. He along with the deer now reside in a home in Aspen Colorado.

The picture also black and white, doesn't show the deep dark chocolate brown color of this early Spring Black Bear.

This was my last cat encounter...and I was told I couldn't keep him at home, (Sigh).....So he lives in Aspen, Colorado too. This guy came from around the Rifle Creek Area of Colorado towards the Grand Mesa. All three provided a great deal of meat to a growing and needing family!

Looked up spoiled in the dictionary and you'll see my picture. By the way, we had less than an inch of rain from Dec 2005 til July. In the last 6 weeks we've had 20"!!!! That's why it's so green now.
