Each time a dress picture is posted, I sit in amazement at the time and dedication it takes to take a few yards of material and make it into something that will stop me in my tracks. (I don't even wear dresses, but the Ladies that wear these works of art simply add to the beauty).

Some of you ladies talk about sewing machines as if they were Double A Fueled Dragsters or Funny Cars. Actually I can visualize the NASCAR Announcers explaining the crash in turn 3 caused by a Singer without a serger.(whatever that is).

Then there is Lazy K, who can paint so beautifully and turn out award wining prizes for everyone to enjoy. ( Heck I am lucky if I can follow the paint my numbers). And I have yet to paint a house without getting more paint on me than the object of my intention.

And then there is Ruff who has the perfect recipe for every occasion and every palate. ( I am still trying to keep my Cheerios from getting soggy).

So many folks, and I have named just a few, who gather here daily and today to celebrate the birth of a Free Nation, where even illegal immigrants feel safe from tyranny.

I am sorry that our forefathers were not here to enjoy what they built and died for...But I am very happy and blessed to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Thank you men and women around the world who continue to fight and stand for freedom. I have always said;
Until you find something worth dying for, you'll never find anything worth living for!

God Bless America and its mothers and dads, sons and daughters and of course the ALLEY !

Well said, Kid, well said.

And after talking to my daughter in Canada, who just celebrated Dominion Day, I know she will kiss the ground when her flight lands on August 2nd. She really appreciates what we have here!
