Independence Day Prayer

["H"]

Lord,
Help me to appreciate this nation where you have placed me.
Help me to appreciate the sacrifices of so many to protect the independence with which I am blessed.
Help me to appreciate this independence and its full meaning both for me and for others.
Help me to appreciate and apply the phrase, "In God We (I) Trust"
Help me to appreciate this life you have given.
Last, but certainly not least, help me to continue to appreciate these friends, the fun, and the relaxation found here.
Amen

Have a safe & fun Fourth of July. (Yes, even WJ, Clancy & Crew. Y'all can celebrate a little too.)
