Here are a few pics of the Mounted Shooting. I can't imagine riding a horse and shooting at targets at the same time. I am totally fascinated by this sport and could watch them for hours. My hat goes off to all of the participants of this thrilling sport.:pony :cgun :bow

Oh yeah!!!!! You got the horses!!!! Were you there when they rode throught town!!!! OHMYGOSH!!!!! That was so totally awesome. I wiped away a few tears.

Hi Sweet Violet,
No, I didn't see them go through town this year however I did see them last year and it was quite a site. I never posted pics from last year since I did not know how to resize the pics but had quite a few when they were in town. Same goes from the last two Conventions but who knows what I will be posting now. You might see a lot of past memories.

I know Kate was not able to go at the last minute because she needed to be home for the wlak through inspections for the plumbing and elictrical (?) for her new home that is finishing up construction.

The cowgirl on the black horse is one of the best mounted shooting pictures I've ever seen!

Everybody looks fabulous! Nellie, your white, black, and blue ensemble is fresh and elegant. I like the white on white embroidery on the blouse.

I was there! I can't believe I missed you, Sarah, and I saw Sweet Violet but didn't get to talk with her....saw the Aussie Belles and Nellie, probably because we shot on the same time schedules. Caught up with Allie Mo at the awards finally, and for some reason didn't even catch a glimpse of Kid Sopris.....we didn't hang around in town a whole lot because I got so tired after the stages, probably why I missed you all!
I am getting some film developed so I will hopefully have some pictures for everyone in a couple of days. Had a perfectly wonderful time at EOT, and by some strange twist of fate even won the Ladies Rimfire Rifle World Championship! (I love saying that...........:tban :lool ) Skye

I was thrilled to see Sweet Violet's and Nellie Blue's striped dresses. Were there more stripes? Did you still have the Striped Sunday?

Yes!!! The picture of Clancy in her blue dress, the brown in it had stripes, and Ruby had her red and black stripe blouse on (if I remember correctly!!) And my mom (even though she isn't an official member of the alley) had her black and white striped dress on!! I just wish I had had my brain in gear to take a striped picture!!! ACK!!!

Sweet Violet's striped 1890's suit is devastating!!! I made the husband a jacket out of a similar fabric, and now I know what to do with the rest of it!!
