Welcome to the Alley ! WOW that one heck of an alias ! I betcha y'all got a story to go with it. Please do tell! Wallaby Jack will be around shortly with some thoughts and the ladies love pictures, chocolates, animals( EXCEPT the slithering kind), and we make no mention of it's name. Fannie is deadly with a shotgun and I promised her I behave. Relax, sit a spell and tell us all about yourself.....OR someone else if you choose! :howdy

This is the famous Blarney Castle containing the Blarney Stone. If you follow the windows up to just under the ledge this is where the stone is located. You can see the iron straps on the outside of the wall which is part of the frame over which you lay on and then PUCKER UP to xxxx the stone

And this is how its done,my uncle from C.A. kissing the stone

What movie??? So I guess not.

When we were stationed in KeyWest Fl., our neighbor's wife was from Ireland. She used to tell us all about it and show us pics from home. They were great. We wished we could have gotten stationed over there, but we didn't.

We got Hawaii instead!!!!!!!!! It was a really fun time for 3 1/2 years.

Aloha
The movie is called "The Quite Man" staring John Wayne and Maureen OHara. These pics are location shots. If you havent seen it rent it out you will love it. Of course it was made in 1952 and things have moved along since.

Happy 4th of July guys and go easy on the POP

That movie is one of my favorites. I think because of the location and the actors. I really like Maureen OHara and John Wayne. I recongized the pictures right away. Ireland is one of a couple place I would like to visit. Along with Austraila, Sweden, Norway, Japan, France, England and Scotland. But for now I'll just have to see thing in the good old USA.

Vic, it's bee-oo-tee-ful! Heavens, until I saw that first picture, I hadn't realized I don't expect mountains and lots of green stuff in the same view anymore. Funny what a few years in the desert will do...

This is the "Giants Causeway" all the columns are six sided and where formed millions of years ago when the molten Basalt lava was cooled by the sea. It runs for a couple of miles along the shore and under the sea just stopping short of the Scottish coast

Here is a little more scenery this time Donegal with the M.G. club

I hope you enjoy these

"Married 32 years"

W ell, it's not a midlife crisis, but here's how things worked out for me.

Married 32 years, took a look at my wife one day and said,

"Honey, 32 years ago, we had a cheap apartment, a cheap car, slept on a
sofa bed and watched a 10 inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep
every night with a hot 20 year old.

Now, we have a nice house, nice car, big bed and plasma screen TV, but
I'm sleeping with a 52 year old woman. It seems to me that you are not
holding up your side of things."
My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a
hot 20 year old blond to sleep with, and she would make sure that I
would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car,
sleeping on a sofa bed, and not have anything nicer than a 10 inch black
and white TV ....

Welcome to the Alley! I too am impressed with your kilt. I have been searching for my family's tartan, but what I've found isn't in the budget right now. So glad to have you here and thanks for the pictures.
