Okay, it is time to start this thread back up! The Yesteryear Ball at the Convention, in Las Vegas, will be a Victorian Masquerade this year. The Belles will be teaching a mask making class on Friday....if you sign up for the class, come, learn and leave with your mask, made with your own two little hands. We will have tons of supplies, and you can bring swatches of your fabric or anything else you'd like to help with your mask.
Let's start this thread with some Masquerade ideas.

Since it was scandalous to show your ankles during this era, a masquerade gave an acceptable reason to wear a short dress.

Here is a couple's costumes. Clown costumes were so very Victorian Masquerade. If you made something out of seersucker or cotton, you would be fine in the Flordia heat. (I know, I used to live there and actually shot my first clean match at Ruskin in July 2003 and the temp was 103 degrees!!)
