THE TWO ATTORNEY’S

A defense attorney is pleading his case in a south western court house
It was a hot Arizona afternoon, but outside was as quiet as a mouse
When from beneath an open window, a mule starts braying loudly
His song carries through the room and rings the air quite proudly

Lawyer Smith rises gravely, the crowd thinks he will prosecute the crime
“If it please the court,” he says, “I object to the two attorney’s speaking at the same time”
