Thanks for the warm Alley welcome! I really enjoyed my first shoot and can't wait to go again. A big thanks to all the ladies who made me feel at home all day. I am so excited I have been trying to find a pattern I like to make my first dress. I have made renissance dresses before, but any tips on books / patterns/ or anything tricky about victorian style dress making are very much welcomed. I am wanting to make something suitable for summer.
I am on the look out for a 97 shotgun. Thanks Fannie I believe you showed me a shotgun that I can handle as opposed to it handling me.
I am soo excited to be part of the Alley! I'll post some pictures tonight.

By the time the Walnut Grove shoot comes back around, Alvilda will her very own pair of new Ruger .32s with the birdhead grips. She fell in love with a pair this past weekend and I set out on a search for them as soon as we got home.

I'm hoping that at the gun show in Hickory this coming weekend we will be able to find that '97 pump that she has her heart set on. We will also be looking for a set of .32 dies so that Two-Gun Terry will be able to reload her some shells.

Thank you to everyone who helped us out this past weekend in getting her set up. Despite what happened right before lunch, we had a great time! It really is an honor to shoot with you guys.

Oh, by the way, to avoid some of the confusion from this weekend...
