This is an update on a situation I had with one of Taurus' new weapons. They have the pump action rifle and I thought it would be cool to have one so I bought it. I figured with the Taurus reputation that even if it messed up it would be ok.
The day I bought it I took it to the family compound and started shootin. Didnt take long for it to sputter a bit until finally it quit all together. I sent it back with a nice note of all the problems and waited. FOR 2 1/2 MONTHS. I then started the "call and aggrivate" campaign.
Finally after two weeks of talking to all the wrong people and the 3 MONTHS without my gun, I spoke to a guy named Robert, boss of all the wrong people. He told me that my gun had been there too long and that he was going to send me a new one out this morning. I will treat it the same and we will see what we come up with.
Kid, I thought i would tell you that i checked with Taurus and the guy that said he was going to be there quit, so if your going to do any but chewin your going to have to find another employee.
I would like to think that whatever problem Taurus has with this weapon that they will have worked it out before they put it on the production line. If they are at end of trail it would be interesting to hear what they have to say when they have to look you in the eye. But to thier credit they are sending another gun so we shall see.
PS. I do know that others are have problems as well (Sam), all i can tell you is wait and see.
