I've got the recipe for the one with the crunchy topping, but not one with sauce:

1 C. Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 C. Milk
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/3 stick Butter or margarine(melted)
1 tsp. Vanilla
Topping
1 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 C. Flour
1/3 C. Butter or Margarine (melted)
1 C. Pecans
Preparation:
Mix together sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk, salt and 1/3 stick of melted butter. Pour into a buttered pan. Mix together all topping ingredients and crumble topping evenly over potato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes uncovered.

This one uses cut yams instead of pureed.
29 oz. can Princella Cut Yams, drained
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons flour
3 tablespoons melted butter
Optional ingredients: miniature marshmallows or shredded coconut
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix drained yams together with the chopped pecans and place in an ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole or baking dish.
In small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend well.
Sprinkle over yams.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly.
7 servings

Had this one in my recipe file:
Sweet Potato Casserole
3 cups cooked mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1\2 teaspoon salt
1\2 stick oleo, melted
1\2 cup milk
1\2 teaspoon vanilla
Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, salt, eggs, oleo, milk and vanilla. Pour into casserole sprayed with non-stick spray.
Combine:
1 cup finely chopped nuts and 1\3 stick melted oleo
Spread over sweet potatoes. Bake in 350° oven for 35 minutes.
I don't like the gooey marshmallows either. Probably not exactly the same as the one you had but in a pinch ............
My mother's great grand-children call her GG so I always think of her when I see your name. She's a sweety, too. Nellie's Mom

Mmmmmm---sweet potato casserole season! I love autumn.
Hugh, I'm gonna start saying that loudly in the produce aisle of the supermarket, about the new potatoes. Bwah-hah-hah!
(You'd appreciate my pard Steve. We were in Target once, passing through the linens and decorating stuff section, when Steve dashed down an aisle, grabbed one of the fancy silk pillows off the shelf, and threw it at me.
"What was that for?" I said.
"They told me to!" he replied, pointing at the sign at the end of the aisle that read "Toss Pillows.")
