I wish there was an easier way to say this but:

Catawba Kate
06-05-2006, 08:04 PM
Hey, Hugh, is that why you haven't been around much lately? Don't answer my phone calls? Don't email me back? :tap I think we need to add a few more stipulations to that application:
1. She must submit a picture of herself in full, period correct Victorian clothes from 1873.
2. A picture of herself in an authentic Dale Evans costume.
3. A picture of herself in an authentic Native Amerian dress made by an authentic Native American.
Any more questions?:lool :lool :lool :kiss

Bring the completed application with you on Saturday. Alli, Kate and I will review and let you know if she is worthy to advance to the next stage....meeting us.

She's red headed, was in law enforcement (clean background, can shoot), and just moved back up hear from Ft. Lauderdale Florida. (originally from here). After browsing Barnes and Noble, TJ Maxx, eating at Trips, we then took in a movie (Cars!!!). I have given her a pretty good briefing on CAS and the Belles. She knows about the GPC honor coin and woody. She saw the Belles on the card I had in my truck. So far she's doing really well. ;)

I was just reading that application and boy is that a doozy.....I don't even think I could pass it!!!!

But hey nothing wrong with having the RIGHT standards! Good Luck! :noe

Kid Sopris
06-15-2006, 11:18 AM
(In a Jimmy Stewart voice)...Now you see, this standard thing is being looked at from different directions. Hugh wants a "10", and there is nothing wrong with that, It's just I want a "10" as well. I am just willing to take five "2's".:lool :lool :tap :lool :lool

Don't get me wrong...there is nothing wrong with standards....

I am just saying that I am gonna have to work at these standards.....You guys are tough! I better get sewing.....:sewing

And yes I too would be happy with five 2's...but I think two 5's may be a lot more entertaining!!! :sk :rofl :lool

Chihuahua Floyd

Kid,
No way would I want five 2's. One wife and two daughters is plenty of women in one house for me.
If I had 5, I'd need three or four houses, sixteen cars, 12 jobs, win the lottery and I'd still be broke.
One Woman per man is plenty.

Actually, it is easy for me to say. I got lucky. She's not perfect, but we love each other even after 20 years.
I may even be able to get her to a match at GPC this year.

Colt (http://www.hit-country-music-lyrics.com/Joe-Nichols-Tequila-Makes-Her-Clothes-Fall-Off-Lyrics.html)

Marguerite is at the holiday inn
Oh have mercy my only thought
Was tequila makes her Colt's fall off
I told her put an extra layer on
I know what happens when she drinks patron?
Her closets missing half the things she bought
Yea tequila makes her COLT's fall off

She'll start by kicking out of her shoes
Lose an earring in her drink
Leave her jacket in the bathroom stall
Drop a contact down the sink
Them panty hose aint gonna last too long If the dj puts bon jovi on
She might come home in a table cloth
Yea tequila makes her Colt's fall off
She can handle any champagne brunch
A bridal shower with Bacardi punch Jello
shooters full of Smirnoff
But tequila makes her Colt's fall off

She'll start by kicking out of her shoes
Lose an earring in her drink
Leave her jacket in the bathroom stall
Drop a contact down the sink
She don't mean nothing She just havin fun
Tomorrow she say oh what have I done
Her friends will joke about the stuff she lost
Yea tequila makes her Colt's fall off
Oh tequila makes her Colt's fall off
Oh tequila makes her Colt's fall off

Thanks Mr. Sopris, .......... now to find out if she has an unattached sister .........

Hugh Damwright

Well, she has now seen the video of the Gunpowder Creek Regulators on tv, and watched "Cowboys, Meet the Carolina Belles" episode. Put her through this when we came back this evening. She briefly met my parents and I met hers.... So far I see no signs at all of a dq. ;)

She was tied up in the morning, someone was looking at the house she is living in (potential buyer). She will be at a match soon. No that had nothing to do w/ my outfit. I was insulted several times about that, I will redeem myself shortly~~ evilb:

No comment on the shooting... I kinda blew the first 2 stages but that cure will be in my mailbox today. Did have one good stage though, knew it went good but didn't realize it went as good as it did !!! That's a first for me at GPC ~~!!!! :tban
