Ok. I've got my duct tape dummy made and it's working well. But I'm also lusting after a "real" dress form. I have an ancient one of unknown brand that is too big and hard to adjust. I'm looking in the $125 range and considering the Prym-Dritz Twin Fit Dress Form. Anyone have any opinion? :fb

I just got a Uniquely you dress form from allbrands.com on ebay. $ 140.00 shipped.

LOVE IT! Lizzie Marie helped me fit the cover to me, over the chemise and corset. Pulled it over the form and then put the corset over it and I am working on the bodice for the waverly pattern overskirt.

SOOO much easier than trying to dial out the bust measurement which also opening up the rib cage measurements. This one fits to ME! and worth the money. If you lose weight or ( heaven forbid) gain it you can change it easily.

For the $$ I'd get one of these.:chick

I want a Uniquely You dress form, and I will have one some day....other things have priority right now. But, these are great. Unlike the My Twin dress form that I have now, the Uniquely You "squishes" like a person, where the My Twin is hard plastic. Go for the Uniquely You!!

I have a Uniquely You, it's my favorite. Being able to pin pieces onto the form really helps composition before putting the dress together. Mine's old and has the body stocking, good thing cause the foam is old and I am trying to preserve it as much as possible.

Just have to resize the cover, because I have gained weight.

Also want to get another cover and size it to fit over my corset and petticoats etc.
