Hi all,

I'm lurking around the Alley for some time now, of and on, and finally I think it is time for a proper introduction.
As you can see, I'm Petticoat Betty (in normal life known as Nicole) and this is my dear friend and partner in life Four Eyes Henry (in normal life known as Erik). FEH shoots cowboyaction, DWSA (Dutch Western Shooters Association) which has a connection to the SASS. FEH was a member of the SASS for several years, even went to End of Trail, but that was long before we met and somewhat years ago. I myself don't shoot, I allready have enhough hobbys as it is. But I luuuuuuv to go with him, play dress up and have fun!!!:party

I have some pictures to post, they were made last years winter. We don't have this mucht snow every winter so when it did we asked a good friend of ours to get her camera out and shoot some pics!!!. We think they turned out qiute nice...

Betty them are lovely photos ... I need to do that some day ( this would be the someday that I hope comes BEFORE my children are raised and out of the house! LOL)

It was so much fun having the photo's taken!!! For FEH especially, he was born in this very house, the pictures were taken on the property that belongs to the house. It is nearby where we live ( if I look out my kitchenwindow I would see it if it wasn't for the trees and a few buildings...)
During the shoot we had a real snowstorm too, and boy, I was cold in that dress, snow running down my cleavage...


GG, you have to MAKE time doing these things, otherwise your kids WILL be all grown up and out of the house, that would be a shame now, wouldn't it???
And by the way, just out of curiousity (I know it killed the cat, but won't do me any harm I suppose): What's with that darned chicken???:chick :chick :chick

Ahhh Betty well the chicken is just me little joke from the Bust Out...See I found SASS for the costumes Stayed for the Folk and drug Hubbie after me whining about having to dress up ( until he relized he got to shoot guns "I'll wear whatever you like dear.":rofl )

But I can be a little distracted at times...I will deny that in court you understand.

So my neighbor bought me a T-shirt that reads "I do not have ADD ( attention deficate disorder) Poeple just dont underst....OH LOOK A CHICKEN!!!"

which pretty much sums up my personality.

Sooooooo while at the Bust Out anytime I felt the chit chat was getting a little stale I was heard to hollar out "OH LOOK...A CHICKEN!!!!" Jady bless her heart looked every single time!


We had lots of fun with it...I daresay I may never live it down...its good to be remembered for the good times!

She is not a professional, but a semi-professional, she doesn't earn her living doning it, but from time to time she shoots pics to go with an intervieuw for a magazine on a free-lance basis.

Cool! I've been addicted to taking pictures since my mom gave me a little Kodak 110 when I was about 10! I've even taken vacations just to take pictures! (B4 :sassmarshall , of course) I'm not even anywhere close to what your friend is doing! She's awesome!
