Good News....Bad News....

There's not much that could make me miss the Convention....That being said...only two things could make me miss it....

1) Going home to Louisiana to visit my folks :kiss
2) Going to a REALLY good shoot :gf

Well, come December I can do both at one time!!! The Louisiana State Shoot was moved from November to December and from down by New Orleans to up close to my folks!

If my boss will let me change my vacation from November to December, I'm gone! Sorry, I'd love to see all your masquerade outfits, but ya gotta make tough choices in your life! :snifles Maybe I can leave my camera with someone! :re

Yes, EOT is budgeted into my vacation time next year. Just planning my striped dress!

Next year will be my first EOT. I've already got fabric for the Folkwear VBS. Is there a stripe dress thing going on? Any excuse to make a new dress works for me. Besides, I need more hot weather clothes.

We thought we would all make a striped dress and wear them one day at EOT next year.....we did this right after last EOT!!! Can you imagine all the Alley Cats at EOT wearing stripe dresses on the same day.....they won't know what hit them.... :18 so... :kbutt get busy designing girl

I'd better get finished with my Convention clothes so I can start the EOT stuff (especially with the 12 week cast/splint on my right hand coming up).

Right now, I'm making the Lauging Moon saloon/cancan outfit. I keep having to take breaks from the ruffles. They are sooo tedious. I'm making the skirt, top, bustle, and shorts. I'm going to put ruffles on everything too. I think that this will be the last Convention outfit.

Wouldn't it be great to have an "Alley Outing" to dinner on Wednesday night? What ya'll think? We could go somewhere on the strip or I know a GREAT little Italian Restaurant off the strip! I'm sure we can put together enough vehicles to haul everyone...let see I can fit 4-5, Kid...4-5?, Skye...4-5? I think we could do it....Even if I can't make the Convention...maybe I can still see ya'll!
