We had an absolute wonderful time! And Kelsey had a TREMENDOUS time! Of course, she also won 1st place for Best Dress Formal Lady and 1st place for Junior Girl Shooter! She was just so over the top about it! We all wore our matching B-western outfits Friday night at the BBQ and took the audience by storm! There were people purchasing "Delaware Diamond" pictures besides ourselves! LMAO!! Just got back in and I am beat, so you'll have to wait until tomorrow for pictures. Out of the 20 people on our posse, half of them won prizes. Here is the breakdown:

We had a great time on Friday night-----------did you know Duane and Vickie got married? Did I forget to mention that? Deacon officiated the ceremony and he preached right out of the Cowboy Chronicle. Can't get more official than that! (When she reads this tomorrow, I am so dead!)

The banquet on Saturday night was just wonderful, despite the fact that 2 of my judges got ill and bailed on me and I had to find last minute replacements! YIKES!!! In any case here are a couple pics from then, too. This is Dixie Bill and Kelsey. He is wearing his Great-grandfathers Confederate Civil War uniform. It was awesome! And how appropriate for him to be the little Southern Belle's escort!

Sunday was another great day! Doc showed up to have Kelsey autograph his Chronicle. She was tickled!

She shot her heart out on Sunday, and was quite disappointed to learn that she was only shooting 4 stages that day!

I have to say that the men of our posse took care of Vickie all weekend. They wanted to make sure that she didn't trip or fall in her "delicate" condition, so they swept the brass and shot gun hulls out of the way for her!

And they made sure that the thresholds were properly covered for her as well! (She is going to kill me! And just to quote Vickie "The Pope has a better chance of getting pregnant than I do")
