Hi Folks,
My shotgun shells are infamous in these parts. They make the biggest boom and flame this side of black powder. :flame The RO's stand back. So far, I haven't shot Frontier Cartridge. I do shoot the Plainsman Event with my 1887 lever gun every chance I get.
Here's a SG picture.. Sorry if my confusion of clothing styles is not worthy. I did win Best Dressed Cowgirl at that match, Plainfield Raid.
I've been meaning to tell you about this dress. I made it; but, Recollections is now using that print on one of their lines. Isn't that enough to make you want to (looking for a smilie that's spitting bullets).

Allie Mo!
I love your dress it is very pretty and we do want to hear all about it and we will even help you spit a few bullets at Recollections too ( the nerve of them!)
I loved your article in the chronicle "I'll be dead before I am bored!" " dances with barrel snales!" Lord I laughed till' I cried then I started thinking how much fun it would be to learn more about wonderful sooty BP...!!! Truly truly inspiring writing and very enjoyable to read!!

Well, Allie Mo, they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... even when unintentional. Your dress is beautiful and I don't blame Recollections a bit for liking that fabric! I had already ordered my fabric for my SASS convention dress before my hubby told me about Belle Alley. The store only had half the yardage I wanted, but I went ahead and took what they had. Then I took a look at Fannie's pictures and darned if I didn't see who got all the rest of my fabric :10 and then there was Alli shootin' in MY corset :p I came to the conclusion that it just means that we alley-ites have excellent taste!

CFK.....a pump dont make you any faster. Miss Ruby won speed shotgun at EOT and she shoots a side by side...
Down here in Australia and New Zealand pumps are not allowed. SO it shows you you can shoot them just as fast as the pump...Lots of practice loading and unloading..

Sorry Allie...I forgot to turn on my brain today you are exactly right, it was a great article though...and I do admire lady BP types! I am lucky to remember NOT to feed 38 bullets into the 45 rifle ...

Hi GG,
One day, my first year shooting, somehow I picked up hubbies 45 Colts and put in my 38 bullets. "Jess," I yelled, "there's something wrong with my guns. The bullets keep falling out." :18

Don't feel bad ,Doc. I haven't got any of me and my favorite SxS, the 1878 Colt either. Have one of me and the 1898 Marlin, but I'd have to find the small one again as the copy that's handy is 8x10 and hanging on my loading room wall.
Another problem is that I'm usually the one pushing the shutter! :re :cgun

Hmmm, if I wasn't shooting in that picture, pray tell what was I doing? The target thought I was shooting.
It sounds to me like you have your priorities out of order. Mine, on the other hand, have never put sport shooting ahead of looking at beautiful women. If they do, then you can expect the services to be at Arlington within the week. :stooge

I don't love my shotgun. I like my shotgun, though. I love women. I love my wife and my Melanie and I kiss them because I love them. If I loved my shotgun, I'd kiss it. Then I'd have a black ring around my lips and BP fouling don't taste good. My wife's lips taste good. So does my Melanie's little girl spit. :10 :kiss :rofl
I gotta get a new digicam. :o <sigh>
