We had a great time! The weather was superb and there were several shooters who turned out for the shoot. We shot with a fantastic group of people---all really good shooters who did nothing but support and encourage one another, especially Kelsey. She shot a plastic Easter egg (almost shot the string that was holding it in 2), a long range rifle target with her .22 (got 2 out of 3 shots), and hit 3 of 6 clays from the trap thrower with her .410. She amazed us all! LOL!!!! What a way to spend Easter!

Kelsey really did well throughout the match, but her performance on the shotgun only stage was fantastic. This was actually on the trap field standing at the back corner of the trap house. You had to shoot a steel plate then a clay was thrown; you alternated for 12 shots. The thrower oscillated, so you didn't know where the bird was going, except that it was going away from you very quickly. She hit 3 of 6 birds with a 20 inch .410!
The scores have been posted and Kelsey won Ladies Junior! We really did have a great posse: 5 people won their classes and 6 were in the top 10.
