We all had a good shoot this weekend, the weather held out good for most of the weekend.

My results were not as good as i would have liked but anyway...here you go, this is what i won. I had two bad stages which knocked me out of winning contention.Need more practice...:shoot

Kate, my camera was playing up...Hopefully we will get more pics for you i think Wobbly has more... No costume contest, but everyone still dressed cowboy, some did get all done up, but we didnt do anything this year for costuming.Sorry. We had a spit roast dinner and a cowboy(moives, guns & gear, general, Civil War) trivia night which was enjoyed by everyone, much to our surprise everyone was very close playing that only one point separated each of the teams. Constable Nelson (Trooper)used snippets from movies for "what movie is this category" he did very good.

There was only 4 main people in our club that did most of the work, we have to rely on other shooters to help, and there is always a bunch of people willing to stand up and help , which we are all really grateful for, without them our job would have been more tiring.

We also split the shooters into Yanks and Rebels (i was a rebel), we had the 2Generals one was Beuregard (sp?)i think and i cant remember the other one.Anyway they chose their army's and we all were given confederate or union bandanas to wear all weekend. Once the scoring was completed we then sorted out the yanks and rebels based on their overall total times.... Unfortunately the South did not rise again....But we all had a great time

That is too funny!! That is the stage that my posse started a betting pool about how far into the stage I'd get before I said something!!! So, I fooled them all, I stuck a shotgun shell in my mouth and kept it there.....made it thru the whole stage and got the bonus!! :gg :gg

Golf Ball Bonus
After you shoot a very fast stage and you adrendaline is REALLY pumping...off the clock after your last gun, you pick up a "rock" (a golf ball) and throw it at a pistol target...if you hit the target it's a 10 second bonus. You've got to remember...your adrendaline is REALLY pumping...you either throw it into the ground before the target or you throw it WAY past the target.

The significance of this bonus is that way early in Mule Camp history (maybe even the 1st Mule Camp...someone correct me if I'm wrong), they had a stage where you had to throw 10 rocks at 10 targets and if you missed the target it was a miss. (Each stage came from an an actual shootbook from each year of the 10 year history of Mule Camp...last year was the 10th Anniversary.)

No Talking Bonus
You said a specific line at the beginning and a specific line at the end and you could not say a PEEP in between those lines...so if you were able to do that, you would get a 10 second bonus.
