We shot the first match of the new 2006 season (for us at least) today. It was a blast! The ladies got interviewed by reporters from the Reading Eagle newspaper, and got their picture taken to go along with the article about women in shooting sports. I got to wear my purple dress (and it's a breeze to shoot in). I had lots of people drooling over the parasol that GG did-------they just couldn't believe what a phenomenal job she did. And then there is the best part. KELSEY SHOT HER FIRST CLEAN MATCH!!!! We are just so proud of her!!!!!! Can't wait for next week at Guthsville!

I know I read that you were going to shoot in that dress, but I still must ask...YOU SHOT IN THAT DRESS?!?! It is just so lovely. I'd be so scared that I'd ruin it. You go girl.

You guys left too early and I didn't get to congratulate Kelsey with a big hug! Tell her I'll get her at Guthsville.

It was an absolutely beautiful day too! 121 shooters!!!! Guess I wasn't the only one looking to shake off cabin fever.

Way to go, Kelsy!:tban I shot Satr. too. One miss again. To paraphrase the statement about Ohio State under Woody Hayes.....5 stages in a cloud of rust!.........Buck:cgun

Yup Wallaby, them is duellies on that gun cart! One of the places that we shoot at used to have 6" deep of crush and run-------trying to push or pull a guncart through that stuff with single wheels was impossible!

SV, that dress was a breeze to shoot in! It won't be the last time that I wear it to shoot in either. Here's a good shot of me knocking down some chickens with the shotgun!

Doggone, that dress even looks great when accessorized with gun leather! (I like the way the black piece in back frames your loading block. :rofl ) The whole family looks terrific in their shooting wear.

Kelsey, congratulations! Nerves of steel, cowgirl!!!!

Cheers,
