Oh Bother ! cried Pooh, as he reached for the cleaning rod to knock yet another bullet out of his rifle barrel............
I loaded about 500 .45s t'other day..... 2day shoot comming up next weekend....
I took some out to tha range yesterday, and tried 'em out in my rifle (which needed some sight adjustment anyway)......... oh bother! click-not-boom, on more than one occasion..... :(
Seems that my loading press started playing up during the process and I don't know when or what........ yet!
Gotta spend time with a bullet puller and save the bullet and the powder and the primer, ............ and I don't think I got any spare empty cases, ...
:(

Having have to go through a bunch of rounds myself, I found a shortcut that may save some time with the bullet puller. If you have an electronic scale, measure the empty case. the bullet, add those 2 weights together and the intended weight of the powder charge. Then figure a minimum weight of the three combined allowing for a 1 or 2 grain variation in bullet weight. Anything BELOW the mimimum weight gets pulled. Anything above the minimum weight gets put into the practice bucket
