Actually, she now has two. Thanks Fannie. She tried it on last night, little long, but nothing that can't be lovenly taken care of.
Lizzie, she wore a coat most of the day, just not for pictures.
Fannie, no she did not kick my butt yet.

Aw gee, thanks for the complements...I actually didn't do too much to the dress, my grandmother made it for one of my mom's high school plays (Carousel I think) and I just altered it and made it slightly more historically accurate.
Sorry I haven't been on much lately, I have been up at a camp down the road from my house most of the time, helping in the kitchen or helping design websites or exersicing dogs or scrubbing bathrooms or cleaning cabins or whatever else they ask me to do. I think I spent the better half of this month so far up there, I probably have even spent the night almost equally up there and at home.
Like my dad said, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE DRESS FANNIE!!!! I really like it! Now I have a real good excuse to get my new sewing machine out and try to figure out how to use it!

Wallaby,
If I have to shoot anybody over one of my girls, it won't be with rock salt.

LMB,
I got's plenty of ammo, even some of the heathen jacketed magumus types.
You'er welcome in my house as a friend, but you don't want to suprise me in the middle of the night.

Hi Chipmunk,
You look great in that dress. You look so mature.
I hope you can make something warmer to wear. A basic skirt is really easy to make. Then, you could make a simple vest and wala (I know it's not a word; but, how do you spell it?) you've got a winter outfit.
I have one brushed denim outfit that looks like twill wool. That would be a good choice as it would be multi-seasonal.
Regards,
