For instance...what would the ballpark price of an alias on a pistol backstrap? And about how long would it take you?

Sorry, I missed your post.:kbutt Your alias would run around $40.00 per gun (unless its a real short alias like Sam, Slow, It, Mac, or really long like: she who runs with the wind and never will return :rofl . If you want to ad to the top of the backstrap some scrollwork or a special design to fit with your alias you can add another 15-20.00.
It usually only takes me a couple of hours or so to do a set at a shoot, that's if I don't get interupted. Lots of times people will leave their guns with me at night and then pick them up in the morning before they shoot. If you take your backstraps off and mail them to me, I can turn them around in whatever time frame you have in mind (if you need them back for a shoot!!!!) We just need to schedule it so it fits with your shooting schedule. I'm trying to get pics up on my website-hopefully the gun engraving stuff will be up in the next 2 weeks. aspenfillys.com
I'm willing to work with budgets-cuz I know exactly how it can be!!! I've done stuff for people in phases also. Do backstraps first, wait awhile and then do cylinders, etc.
Generally - engraving can start at $20.00 per gun and go up as high as you'd like!

Aspen, are you and your husband going to be at either Revenge of Montezuma in Cortez, EOT or Hell on Wheels, because id be interested in getting some scroll work done...But being gun parts its a little hard to ship them and id prefer to hand them to you personally than worry about them being lost in the post somewhere....

I will be at all 3 shoots this year and there are 7 others im travelling with, im sure some of them may be interested also...

Thanks

Clancy,
I'm still working on my schedule- Cortez might be a possibility. Definitely at Hell On Wheels - I'm one of there sponsors up there and its really close to home for us (only 2 hours). Would love to do some engraving for you!!!!
EOT is just too expensive for vending-wish it wasn't so, but it is what it is. Last year there were 5 of us trying to do engraving down there. Way too many for the number of shooters. Look me up 'Aspen Filly's Merchandise'. Look me up even if you don't want any engraving done !!!:jp

I will try to get some stuff together and get it posted. I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out how to get pics posted. :duh (I'm the person the arrow is pointing to when it comes to computers!) E-mail me with your e-mail address and maybe I can get it to work better that way!

Thanks

OOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I LIKE THOSE! Yeah - I can do that for you. It's a little more detailed so the price might run a bit higher. Do you have a price range your looking at? If you want you can e-mail me at jfantom@aol.com.
But that looks like it will be fun to do! (Love those little scrolls!!!!! Oh yes I do!)

I finally got some engraving pitures on my website: aspenfillys.com
Hopefully you can see some of the detail, or at least get an idea from the pics. There not as crisp & sharp as I'd like them to be on the site. Somehow they lost some of their sharpness during the process!:(

Just thought I'd add it as a link so I can refer to if often!
