If the price of gas doesn't get too much worse, I was thinking about coming up for your clubs annual shoot in a few weeks...tell me about it. Close and big or far and little or a combo?

The targets are a bit of everything. They usually toss in a far target or two and a thinking stage or two. Don't know what they look like this year since I'm not on the board (although they keep insisting I am).

I get a kick out of it because we like to have fun. They are not big & fast stages, I'm sure. We usually don't go there, leaving that for the Utah War club and crowd. JC Holliday will probably be there. I doubt if Boots Robb will.

There is no camping at the range so you'll need to stay at a motel or campsite. Let me know what you need. I'd have you stay here but we are at elbow room only with both kids and my grandson living here.
(not to mention the three dogs, cat, goldfish, etc.)

Joe Morley's will be supplying the food, I'm sure. They have the best bar-b-que in this area and their mudd pie is out of this world.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it, but if I come I would stay at my Uncle's house in West Jordan....it all depends on if I have gas money! :18

Check out http:flyingj.com The site lists the Flying J stations by state and their prices.

Also check http://www.utahgasprices.com/index.aspx Type in the city you want and some of the prices will come up. Around here, Flying J and Maverick are the cheapest. If you have a Costco card, it is about $2.49 for the regular, $2.59 for medium grade (88 octane).

Sams does not carry 88 octane.

My daughter said 88 octane is $2.99 in Bountiful.

The utah gas prices site is not always current. Watch the date. Flying J is supposed to be current.
